Night fishing
This barracuda catch was at 21:00, three hours after the sunset on a sandy beach. We stood inside the warm shallow water, absorbing one foot wave’s splashes and a nice strong back light from beach weeding party.
Although the small waves, the water were crystal clear with a smooth surface, so combined with the beach party lights we can notice any prey or predator signs. After 20 minutes my fishing partner had a nice attack but the fish didn’t hooked.

By the attack manner- speedy and aggressive series of bites, I knew it’s probably barracuda - so I kept trying to do the ‘wounded prey’ retrieving.

The Last fight
When I was already on the shore the struggle became bit harder so I wait a little while with the rod tip up just to keep the line tight, only then I was able to open my headlamp.
Then- quick retrieve to keep the fish head pointing to the right direction and it came out to the sand with a big doggy bites on the air.
